3. Guide on how to use PAIA

The Information Regulator has compiled a guide containing such information as may reasonably be required to enable a requester to exercise their rights under PAIA and POPIA. The guide is available at www.justice.gov.za/inforeg.

Certain records — including this PAIA Manual, our Privacy Policy and our Terms — are voluntarily made available on this website without the need for a formal PAIA request.

6. How to request access to a record

• Complete the prescribed request form available from the Information Regulator's website.
• Submit it to the Information Officer at info@samobility.co.za.
• Include sufficient detail to identify the record and the requester.
• Pay any applicable request and access fees prescribed under PAIA.

7. Grounds for refusal

Requests may be refused on the grounds set out in Chapter 4 of Part 3 of PAIA, including the protection of third-party privacy, commercial information, confidential information and the safeguarding of records subject to legal privilege.
